                                                             WELCOME TO OUR WEB SITE!
The Minnesota Centershots organization is dedicated to teaching young people the sport of competitive rifle shooting.  We were incorporated in Minnesota in January, 2008, and operate as a fully independent, private, not for profit corporation. Our purpose is to provide opportunities for youth to learn about, practice for, and compete in state, national, and international amateur marksmanship competitions by using outreach programs, education and training programs, and competition programs. We are affiliated with USA Shooting, the National Rifle Association (NRA),  the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP)  and the Minnesota Rifle & Revolver Association (MRRA).  We use .177 caliber air rifles in our programs, along with .22 caliber rifles (called smallbore) for our young participants who are past the beginner stage. (High-power / centerfire rifle shooting is also available for advanced participants.) We compete regularly in air rifle and smallbore matches throughout the season, culminating in several state championship events each spring. Our participants regularly compete at the National Championships hosted by the NRA, USA Shooting, and the CMP. We are sponsored by the Anoka American Legion, and  we appreciate the support they provide to us!
